DataStreams Corp. (CEO Lee Young-sang) announced on August 2 that it has obtained the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, the international standard forinformation security management system.
ISO 27001 is the most prestigious international standard in the field of information security management. DataStreams was awarded the certification after passing a rigorous evaluation for 114 items in 14 areas such as: △ information security policy, △ business management system, △ research & development and product information, △ personnel and accounting system, △ in-house system, △ documents, and △ assets of physical facilities and working environment of the operating department.
With the acquisition of the certification, DataStreams plans to strengthen corporate reliability and establish a system to cope with internal and external security threats, aiming to protect customer information and keep business management stable.
In relation to this, Lee said "We will fulfill the information security responsibilities required by customers, society, and organizations, with a view to achieving global growth in the data management field."
