BRISBANE, AustraliaApril 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ Korea IT Times-- Megaport (USA), Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Megaport Limited (ASX:MP1) ("Megaport"), a leading global provider of Elastic Interconnection services and Silver level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork, today announced its cloud connectivity collaboration with Oracle. Through this initiative, Megaport and Oracle can provide an easy, cost effective way for enterprises to create dedicated and private connectivity to Oracle Cloud services that can scale rapidly with changing business needs.

Enterprise customers continually look for more choices when it comes to designing networks that can flexibly and quickly address ever-changing workload requirements. Taking advantage of Megaport's global network and API integration with Oracle Network Cloud Service - FastConnect, customers can now quickly establish connectivity between their on premise data center and Oracle cloud environments with higher bandwidth options and a more reliable and consistent networking experience when compared with internet-based connections.

Oracle customers can obtain access to the Megaport global network through the Megaport portal (megaport.al) in more than 20 major markets in Asia PacificNorth America and Europe with 150 points of presence[1]. From any of these locations Oracle customers can self-provision FastConnect via Megaport's Web based portal/ API to the supported Oracle regions. Initial integration will be available at Ashburn and Phoenix with additional locations to be added in the near future.

  • Global availability: customers can access the Megaport global network in more than 20 major markets in Asia Pacific, North American and European regions with 150 points of presence
