SK C&C, a Korean IT service provider, and American tech giant IBM will seek cooperation on cloud-based projects and the creation of a global cloud computing ecosystem.
The company said on March 15 that Ahn Jung-Ok, vice president of SK C&C, will meet with high-ranking IBM officials at IBM InterConnect 2017, scheduled for March 19–23 in Las Vegas, and they will discuss ways to cooperate.
At the IBM Cloud Data Center, which opened in August last year, both companies will also discuss ways to boost cooperation in globally spreading ‘Kerol,’ a comprehensive logistics solution provided through SK C&C's cloud service portal ‘Cloud Z,’ and SaaS (Software as a Service) developed by Korean SMEs.
Both companies plan to thrash out ways to nurture Kerol into a major SaaS that fuels the global logistics industry’s adoption of cloud services.
